Henry Cisneros

Henry Cisneros is one of the nation’s most prominent thought leaders and innovators in infrastructure investment. He is Chairman and Co-Founder of American Triple I Partners, a developer, investor, and manager of infrastructure assets. Henry provides governance leadership and develops relationships with asset and investor partners for Triple I. He is the former federal Secretary of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), appointed by President Bill Clinton and serving from 1993 to 1997. In 1981, Henry became the first Hispanic-American mayor of a major U.S. city, San Antonio, serving four terms.

The Texas Triangle: An Emerging Power in the Global Economy

This important new study examines the intricately linked phenomena of interwoven population growth, economic power, quality education, business leadership, and fiscal significance as exemplified in the "Texas Triangle," a network of metropolitan complexes that are reshaping the destiny of Texas and adding a strong pinnacle in the global system of economic mega-centers. The authors describe the trajectories of each of the Texas Triangle metros in which they live and work and integrate them into a larger dynamic of functioning cohesion and effective collaboration.

John Sharp

John Sharp has served as Chancellor of The Texas A&M University System since 2011. He leads one of the largest systems in the country with its 11 universities and more than 150,000 students enrolled each year, eight state agencies, and an annual budget of more than $7 billion. A 1972 graduate of Texas A&M University, he started a real estate firm in Victoria, Texas shortly after earning his masters from Southwest Texas State University. In 1978, he was first elected to public office as a member of the Texas House of Representatives. His service later would include election to the Texas Senate and the Texas Railroad Commission, then as Texas State Comptroller.

Robert Allen

Robert Allen is President and CEO of Texas Economic Development Corporation (TxEDC). Previously, he served as Deputy Chief of Staff to Governor Greg Abbott, during which time he worked closely with the Director of the Economic Development and Tourism Division to further Governor Abbott's mission to position Texas as a global leader in economic development and as the best state for business innovation, job creation and continuing economic expansion. Prior to his role at the Office of the Governor, Allen served as Deputy Chief of Staff at the Office of the Attorney General, where he assisted with the administration of the more than 4,000-employee agency.
