“It takes support from across our community to achieve greater prosperity for our residents, and the Brazos Valley EDC is thankful for the backing of our newest IBV members,” said BVEDC President/CEO Matt Prochaska.

Invest Brazos Valley is the private sector voice of the BVEDC. Through financial support of the efforts of the BVEDC and its community partners to launch, grow and locate companies in the Brazos Valley, members receive insight into project work and data as well as connectivity to business leadership.

As of the halfway point of 2022, 92 members made up IBV. They come from a wide range of industry sectors, including but not limited to real estate, finance, manufacturing, construction, professional services and healthcare. More than 90 percent of members have a base of operations in Brazos County. Of those companies, approximately 90 percent further contribute to the region’s economic development through membership in the Bryan/College Station Chamber of Commerce.

IBV’s combined committed annual funding of the BVEDC is the largest of any funding partner, having exceeded $350,000 in the fall of 2021. By doing so, IBV earned a third seat on the Board of Directors of the BVEDC.
