For the second consecutive edition, the Aggie 100 featured a record contingent of Brazos Valley companies.
Each year, Texas A&M University’s McFerrin Center for Entrepreneurship compiles its list of the 100 fastest growing companies owned or led by the University’s graduates. Sixteen companies based in Brazos County made the 2022 list, which was revealed at a November 4 dinner at Kyle Field. That is the most in Aggie 100 history.
The list is ranked by percentage of compound annual growth in sales and revenue over a three-year span. For 2022, that period was from 2019 to 2021. To be eligible for consideration, companies must have had verifiable revenues of at least $250,000 for the 2019 calendar year and must been in business for at least five years as of December 31, 2021.
The number of Brazos County-based companies in the Aggie 100 has been in the double digits every year since 2014. For 2021, there were 15, which set the now-surpassed record mark.
The highest-placing local company in the 2022 Aggie 100 was Bryan-based C-LARs, LLC, a manufacturer of launch and recovery systems serving aerospace, oceanographic, military, government and commercial users. C-LARs finished sixth with 107.711% growth from 2019 to 2021.
The Brazos Valley Economic Development Corporation is proud to sponsor the Aggie 100.
