Susan Davenport
President & CEO
Susan Davenport is the President & CEO of the Greater Brazos Partnership, where she leads the economic development efforts of the 5-county Greater Brazos Region, the epicenter of the Texas Triangle. Since assuming this role in July 2023, Ms. Davenport has prioritized collaboration with regional initiatives and stakeholders aimed at attracting high-impact industries, including defense, semiconductors, and life sciences. Her focus includes developing strategic initiatives, partnerships, talent recruitment and development, and a resilient ecosystem that supports sustained economic development.
Before joining the Greater Brazos Partnership, Ms. Davenport served as the Chief Economic Development Officer of the Greater Houston Partnership, where she led the creation and execution of a successful economic development strategy for the 12-county region. Her leadership was instrumental in the successful recruitment of a Fortune 500 global headquarters, as well as hundreds of companies, which created thousands of new jobs for residents.
Ms. Davenport’s background includes extensive experience in Florida, where she was President & CEO of the Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce, and in Austin, Texas, where she spent 13 years working at the Greater Austin Chamber as part of the economic development team. She was key to generating 174,000 new jobs and increasing regional payrolls by $8.7 billion over a decade. She also led efforts to retain and expand over 500 employers and secured nearly $100 million in grants to drive innovation and commercialization.
Ms. Davenport holds a Master of Public Affairs from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Medical Branch. She is a graduate of the Economic Development Institute at the University of Oklahoma and remains actively involved with the International Economic Development Council.

Salman Khan
Vice President, Economic Development
Salman Khan is the Vice President of Economic Development at the Greater Brazos Partnership, where he leads initiatives to attract investment, drive business expansion, and enhance the economic competitiveness of the Greater Brazos Region.
Previously, Salman played a key role at Toronto Global, where he helped international companies establish operations in the Toronto Region, directly contributing to the creation of over 1,300 jobs and $300 million in capital investment. Before transitioning into economic development, he spent seven years at a Fortune 500 company and two years at an edtech startup, gaining valuable private-sector experience.
Salman holds an MBA from Toronto Metropolitan University and an Honours degree in Computer Science from York University. Raised in South East Asia as an expat, he moved to Canada in 2003 as an international student for his undergraduate studies.

Jennifer Luna
Project Manager
Jennifer Luna is a proud Aggie and dedicated leader with a decade of experience in the public sector, specializing in partnership development, project management, and community engagement. With a passion for maximizing impact, she has a proven track record of successfully growing local, national, and international collaborations and driving economic development and quality improvement initiatives. Her career spans roles in nonprofit leadership, research, and government affairs, always with a focus on fostering sustainable change.

Joshua Douglass
Data Coordinator
Joshua Douglass is the Project Coordinator at the Greater Brazos Partnership, where he plays a key role in research, data analysis, and business development. With a background in economic development, he specializes in generating strategic insights to support business attraction and expansion projects in the Greater Brazos Region.
Before joining the Greater Brazos Partnership, Joshua worked in international community development, leading educational and infrastructure projects in Chad, Africa in conjunction with the local church. He also has experience in real estate technology and client training. Joshua enjoys problem-solving and developing data-driven solutions to support businesses and economic growth in the region. Joshua holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Texas A&M University.

Patricia Devidal
Office Manager
Patricia Devidal is the Office Manager at the Greater Brazos Partnership. With over 30 years of experience in administration and sales management, Patricia has worked alongside executive teams at Fortune 500 companies across multiple industries and countries. Patricia is adept at leading teams, streamlining operations, and implementing efficient policies and procedures to ensure smooth organizational functioning.

Jillian Ryan
Marketing Strategist
Jillian Ryan is a consultant working with the Greater Brazos Partnership as their Marketing Strategist, where she drives strategic marketing initiatives that refine and elevate the region’s messaging to showcase its unique advantages, attract new investment, and fuel economic growth. With over 20 years of experience in business strategy, marketing, and geopolitics, she specializes in developing data-driven solutions that enhance brand awareness and support business expansion projects across the United States.
Before working with the Partnership, Jillian served as a geopolitical risk analyst at the Scowcroft Group in Washington, D.C., advising Fortune 100 companies—including Google, GE, and The Gates Foundation—on market entry and stakeholder engagement strategies for emerging global markets. She then founded Marie Mae Company, a corporate gifting service that combined ethical sourcing with social impact, serving clients such as LinkedIn, FabFitFun, and Meta, and launched “The Good Office Podcast” to showcase stories of how doing good in business drives success.
Jillian holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Business from Texas A&M University and a Master’s Degree in International Business and Public Policy from George Mason University.
