Matt Prochaska
As President and CEO, Matt Prochaska has led the Brazos Valley Economic Development Corporation since September 2017. He has a team approach to economic development and loves the Brazos Valley. He is a member of TEDC and serves on its board. He also has membership in SEDC and IEDC. Recent projects include FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies Texas and G-CON. Other projects of significance during his tenure include Advanta Seeds, CardioQuip, ICC NTA and Skywriter MD. Matt joined the BVEDC with over 25 years of experience in various leadership positions in industry and economic development. He served as a board member and chair for the Tate County Economic Development Foundation in North Mississippi from 2008 to 2014. Matt also worked with the Mississippi Community College System at Northwest Community College to enhance and support workforce development programs such as the John Deere Technology Program. In addition, he has led successful teams in acquisitions, joint ventures and launched hundreds of new products in the commercial furniture industry over the span of his career. Matt received both his Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts degrees in Speech Communication from Texas A&M University with an emphasis in international business development. Matt is passionate about workforce development serving on the Texas A&M University System RELLIS External Academic Advisory Council, the Workforce Solutions Brazos Valley Board and the Vista College Institutional Advisory Committee. He is involved in community service as a board member for Bryan Rotary and is a Paul Harris Fellow, a graduate of the BCS Chamber of Commerce Leadership Brazos Class of 2019, and he serves as a board member for the Brazos Valley Symphony Society & Orchestra. He is married to Merrilee Derrick Prochaska and has two children, Anne-Marie and Joshua.

Executive Vice President, Business Development
Chuck embraces servant leadership principles when addressing the needs of business owners and site selectors, engaging with educational institutions, government-community agencies, elected-appointed officials, and service industry professionals to achieve shared success. He joined the Brazos Valley Economic Development Corporation in March 2006 to prepare and lead innovation economic development strategies for stimulating Bryan/College Station as a new Texas hub for entrepreneurship. Today, Chuck oversees a business development team to support startups and existing firms. Outcomes of services fundamentally help the decision process of commercial investors and domestic and international companies considering expansion or relocation to Brazos County. Focus of the team on high service performance and delivering reliable information reinforces the community's nationwide rankings for top business friendliness and marketplace competitiveness. He is experienced in crafting and implementing economic development services, negotiating incentives, as well as marketing for business incubation and attraction, industry clusters, global trade missions, technology commercialization investment projects, and location analytics. Chuck brings a solid foundation in boom town environments and draws from three decades of work in public-private partnerships that shaped and advanced the Texas marketplaces of Bryan/College Station, Bexar County, San Antonio, Laredo, Beaumont and Galveston, as well as in the State of Virginia, the City of Alexandria and Prince William County. Chuck earned dual Bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Business from Lamar University, where he was also an NCAA track & field letterman and the student body vice president. He also has an MBA in International Trade from Texas A&M International University and a Master’s in Public Administration from George Mason University. Chuck enjoys community service initiatives and has served on the advisory boards of Texas A&M University’s McFerrin Center for Entrepreneurship, the Bryan/College Station Sister Cities Association, Brazos Valley Worldfest, Lemonade Day Bryan/College Station, and 1 Million Cups Bryan/College Station.

Steve Fullhart
Manager, Communications & Engagement
Steve is responsible for getting the word out about what’s happening at the Brazos Valley Economic Development Corporation and in our community. He joined the organization in May 2018. He works on the announcements of major company arrivals and expansions in the community, with CardioQuip, FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies, ICC NTA, Nift and Skywriter MD as past examples. Steve also coordinates with media outlets to amplify the BVEDC's mission and the region's business successes. As part of telling the region's story, he spearheads the BVEDC's "In the Brazos Valley" series, spotlighting company success stories along with quality of life amenities and personal testimonials. He also helps coordinate BVEDC video projects with College Station-based Texas FilmWorks, which has resulted in top awards from the International Economic Development Council and the Southern Economic Development Council. One of the most honored communicators in the region’s history, Steve spent more than a decade at KBTX, the CBS television affiliate serving our community. As an anchor, reporter and producer, he went across the region and well beyond it telling stories and providing information to Brazos Valley residents. In 2014, he travelled to Belgium to cover a BVEDC-led business mission and the coinciding debut of a museum exhibit on Texas A&M service in World War II. Steve's work in Afghanistan covering Texans and Aggies serving in the war zone, also in 2014, earned him his second Lone Star Emmy Award. He also has five national Telly Awards and more than 40 honors from the Texas Associated Press Broadcasters to his name, among other recognitions. Steve is on the board of the United Way of the Brazos Valley and served as its chair in 2019. He advises the From Bastogne to Texas non-profit, which is planning the creation of the Military Heritage Center in College Station. He also works as an announcer at various sporting events in the region, including for Texas A&M. Steve was part of the Bryan/College Station Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Brazos Class of 2013. He is a graduate of Indiana University, having earned a Bachelor’s degree in journalism.

Erin Gough
Manager, Office Administration
Erin joined the BVEDC as Manager of Office Administration in August 2018 when she and her husband moved to Aggieland from New England. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA, and a Master of Arts Management from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA. In Harrisburg, PA, she managed the Pennsylvania Arts Education Network and convened local and state arts and education leaders to develop a comprehensive arts education advocacy agenda. After moving to Silicon Valley in 2014, she supported Hewlett Packard's Global Real Estate team as Executive Assistant to the Executive Vice President. For the last several years, she has worked as a recruiter for non-profit executives and support staff.
