Matt Prochaska
As president and CEO, Matt Prochaska has led the Brazos Valley Economic Development Corporation since September 2017. He has a team approach to economic development and loves the Brazos Valley. Matt joined the BVEDC with over 25 years of experience in various leadership positions in industry and economic development. He served as a board member and chair for the Tate County Economic Development Foundation in North Mississippi from 2008 to 2014. He and the board successfully recruited, launched, relocated and helped expand various companies to the area, including commercial roofing material company Carlisle SynTec, Tier 1 auto supplier PKUSA, Calbe North America and BMW. Matt also worked with the Mississippi Community College System at Northwest Community College to enhance and support workforce development programs such as the John Deere Technology Program. In addition, he has led successful teams in acquisitions, joint ventures and launched hundreds of new products in the commercial furniture industry over the span of his career. Matt received both his Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts degrees in Speech Communication from Texas A&M University with emphasis in international business development. He is married to Merrilee Derrick Prochaska and has two children, Anne-Marie and Joshua. Matt is passionate about community service as a Rotarian and Paul Harris Fellow.

Charles Martinez
Executive Vice President, Business Development
Chuck offers vast executive skills and insights to facilitate community solutions for business engagement opportunities. He joined the Brazos Valley Economic Development Corporation in March 2006 to prepare and lead innovation economic development strategies for stimulating Bryan/College Station as a new Texas hub for entrepreneurship. Today, Chuck oversees a business development team to support existing firms, position initiatives for diversifying and strengthening the region’s competitiveness, and offer site-selection assistance to domestic and international companies considering expansion or relocation to Brazos County. He is experienced in crafting and implementing economic development services, negotiating incentives, as well as marketing for business incubation and attraction, industry clusters, global trade missions, technology commercialization investment projects, and location analytics. Chuck brings a solid foundation in boom town environments and draws from three decades of work in public-private partnerships that shaped and advanced the Texas marketplaces of Bryan/College Station, Bexar County, San Antonio, Laredo, Beaumont and Galveston, as well as in the State of Virginia, the City of Alexandria and Prince William County. Chuck earned dual Bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Business from Lamar University, where he was also an NCAA track & field letterman and the student body vice president. He also has an MBA in International Trade from Texas A&M International University and a Master’s in Public Administration from George Mason University. He serves on advisory boards of Texas A&M University’s McFerrin Center for Entrepreneurship, Lemonade Day Bryan/College Station, 1 Million Cups Bryan/College Station, the Bryan/College Station Sister Cities Association, and Brazos Valley Worldfest.

Audrey Schroyer
Manager, Marketing & Engagement
Audrey's role at the Brazos Valley Economic Development Corporation is to create and manage marketing tools to aid in driving the economic growth of Brazos Valley. Audrey joined the BVEDC in May 2018 after serving as the marketing director for the economic development corporation in Abilene, Texas for eighteen months. While there, she led a successful strategic marketing campaign for the EDC's new entrepreneurship program which officially launched in September 2017. The campaign, which included full branding of the program, print and digital media marketing, and social media, garnered 15 qualified applicants who competed in a nine-month competition for a chance at $100,000 in cash incentives. Prior to her work in economic development, Audrey worked in digital media, sales and event planning in both Texas and in Georgia. Audrey is a graduate of Piedmont College in northeast Georgia, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Management & Marketing as well as her M.B.A. Although she is not originally from Texas – she was born and raised in northeast Ohio – Audrey got here as fast as she could and is beyond thrilled to be working in Aggieland.

Steve Fullhart
Manager, Communications & Engagement
Steve is responsible for getting the word out about what’s happening at the Brazos Valley Economic Development Corporation and working with media outlets to expand the reach of our mission and successes. He joined the BVEDC in May 2018. One of the most honored communicators in the region’s history, Steve spent more than a decade at KBTX, the CBS television affiliate serving our community. As an anchor, reporter and producer, he went across the region telling stories and providing information to our residents. Among his travels, Steve regularly reported from Austin and Washington with our elected leaders. He journeyed to Belgium to cover a BVEDC-led business trip and the coinciding debut of a museum exhibit on Texas A&M service in World War II. His trip to Afghanistan and coverage of Texans and Aggies serving there earned him his second Lone Star Emmy Award. He also has five national Telly Awards and more than 40 honors from the Texas Associated Press Broadcasters to his name among other recognitions. Steve serves as the chairman of the board of the United Way of the Brazos Valley, and advises the From Bastogne to Texas non-profit. He also works as an announcer at various sporting events in the region. Steve is a graduate of Indiana University having earned a Bachelor’s degree in journalism.

Erin Gough
Manager, Office Administration
Erin joined the BVEDC as Manager of Office Administration in August 2018 when she and her husband moved to Aggieland from New England. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA, and a Master of Arts Management from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA. In Harrisburg, PA, she managed the Pennsylvania Arts Education Network and convened local and state arts and education leaders to develop a comprehensive arts education advocacy agenda. After moving to Silicon Valley in 2014, she supported Hewlett Packard's Global Real Estate team as Executive Assistant to the Executive Vice President. For the last several years, she has worked as a recruiter for non-profit executives and support staff.
