Texas FilmWorks Partners with BVEDC for Video Project

The Brazos Valley Economic Development Corporation is partnering with College Station-based Texas FilmWorks on a video project to further showcase why it is better to do business in the Brazos Valley.
The finished products will serve to highlight the region's talent and workforce, sites, and quality of life. The BVEDC will utilize them in its interactions with companies and site selectors in attraction and recruiting efforts, at various events, and through social media.
"We had to look no further than our own backyard to find some of the best talent in their field, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Texas FilmWorks on this project," said BVEDC President/CEO Matt Prochaska.
In 2016, the popular online community TexAgs launched a full-scale film production operation, the TexAgs Production Group. The team gained notoriety and awards for its work on a wide range of projects for both local entities and those outside the Brazos Valley. With a growing team and growing aspirations, TPG was rebranded as Texas FilmWorks in early 2019 and provides film and video production, live streaming, and content and marketing strategy services.
"We're so excited to show off what makes the Brazos Valley such a great place to live and run a business," said Texas FilmWorks Executive Producer Andrew Kilzer. "Our team believes in this community, its people and its businesses, and we are ready to help this place show off a bit more."
Texas FilmWorks touts its seasoned filmmakers and marketing professionals with experience around the world, as well as its strategic location in the middle of the Texas Triangle, allowing the company to provide its services from the state's major metro areas to its coziest corners to all corners of the globe with ease.
The Texas FilmWorks/BVEDC project is slated to be completed in the fall of 2019.
This partnership continues the BVEDC's push of creating video content in order to better reach a wider range of business leaders along with the Brazos Valley community. At the start of 2019, the BVEDC began its "Made in the Brazos Valley" series spotlighting exisiting, thriving companies in the region. In addition, "Life in the Brazos Valley" features display the excellent quality of life in the Bryan/College Station area, and "Be in the Brazos Valley" testimonials are allowing local leaders the chance to tell why being in this area is the best professionally and personally.
