Cost of Living

Today and in large part because of the region’s urbanization and internationalization, the Brazos Valley boasts a quality of life that celebrates the arts and culture, education, commerce, and the outdoors. We are home to two of the best public school districts in the State of Texas, churches of every faith, world-class restaurants and commercial districts, excellent medical facilities, beautiful neighborhoods and a wonderful parks system.

Using Sperling’s Best Places Cost of Living scoring system, the Brazos Valley finds itself below (better than) the American average (100) and the state's. In comparison, the four major metro areas in close proximity to the College Station-Bryan metro are higher (worse) than the national numbers.
